GotGames and the CGS

GotGames is the official media partner of the Championship Gaming Series, the premier e-Sport competition in the world, which has given away over $1,000,000 in prize money at the CGS World Championships. In September 2007, GotGames hosted the Australia and New Zealand Championship Gaming Series qualifiers that saw the best 10 players in Australia at Counter Strike: Source, Project Gotham Racing, Dead or Alive 4 Male and Female and FIFA 2007 go to Kuala Lumpur to compete in the Pan Asian Championships. Australia saw Sydney Underground, their local CGS franchise, take it to the best in the region defeating the world class Chinese team but just losing out in the final to Singapore. Sydney Underground have qualified for the aforementioned World Championships in Los Angeles in December 2007, which has more than $1,000,000 dollars in prize money. GotGames will be providing on the scene exclusive coverage of the event.

GotGames and CEVO

GotGames is the official host for the Cyber Evolution (CEVO) the biggest online e-Sport competition in the world.

GotGames launched the CEVO tournament engine in 2007 which includes the world class anti-cheat program CMN (CEVO Match Network) which has set the Australian e-Sporting scene abuzz with excitement. In early 2008, GotGames will be launching Australian CEVO Professional, and Intermediate Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4 and Counter Strike 1.6 competitions.

GotGames CEVO Professional Divisions which are hosted on single nights to enhance the game as a spectator sport with huge prize money for the winners of the leagues. Counter Strike Source has the ability to allow a spectator to watch the players live in the middle of the games.
